- HPE FlexNetwork 5130 EI Series switches are fully managed enterprise class Gigabit switches supporting Layer 3 static routing and RIP routing, IRF stacking up to nine units high, with four built in 10 Gigabit links. 

- This JG936A has 24 x 10/100/1000 PoE+ enabled ports plus four SFP+ ports for high speed 10 Gigabit or Gigabit fiber connections using optional transceivers.

Features

Layer 2 switching

- 16K MAC address table: Provides access to many Layer 2 devices.

- VLAN support and tagging: Supports IEEE 802.1Q with 4,094 simultaneous VLAN IDs.

- 10GbE port aggregation allows grouping of ports to increase overall data throughput to a remote device.

Layer 3 routing

- Static IP routing: Provides manually configured routing for both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

- Uses a distance vector algorithm with UDP packets for route determination; supports RIPv1 and RIPv2 routing; includes loop protection.

Security

- ACLs provide IP Layer 2 to Layer 4 traffic filtering and support global ACL, VLAN ACL, port ACL, and IPv6 ACL.

- Security with encryption of all access methods (CLI, GUI, or MIB) through SSHv2, SSL, and/or SNMPv3, and other features including DHCP protection, IP source guard, dynamic ARP protection and RADIUS/ HWTACAS.

Quality of Service (QoS)

- The HP 5130 EI Switch Series supports advanced classifier-based QoS which groups traffic using multiple match criteria based on Layer 2 and 3 information; applies QoS policies such as setting priority level and rate limit to selected traffic on a port, VLAN, or entire switch.
